Entities
An entity is a named real-world actor with a known on-chain presence — a centralized exchange, a DeFi protocol, a market maker, a payment processor, or a sanctioned organization. Allium maintains 1,112 labeled entities, each mapped to a set of addresses across one or more chains. Entity coverage is the backbone of attribution: knowing that a given address belongs to Binance, Aave, or Flow Traders turns anonymous on-chain activity into actionable intelligence.
All entity labels are proprietary — built from manual research, exchange clustering heuristics, smart contract decoding, and behavioral analysis. No commercial providers. Coverage depth varies by entity type: exchanges have the richest coverage (deposit wallets, hot/cold wallets, funding chains), while newer protocols and emerging categories are more sparsely labeled.
